Who We Are
The Federation for the Blind and Visually Impaired is one of the leading nationwide organizations for blind Americans. It has been a decade since it has been founded and currently situated in Baltimore, the Federation of the Blind and Visually Impaired consists of affiliates, chapters, and divisions in all 50 states.
Our Actions
Through our network of blind members, we organize a variety of programs, services, and resources to protect the rights of blind Americans, give assistance and information to blind children and adults, and develop a community with a bright future.
Our Beliefs
We are the only core group with the ability to make our visions a reality, and we are the only ones that believe in blind people’s full potential. All of us, from our democratically chosen leaders to our racially and ethnically varied membership across the country, are blind people who firmly believe in the value of the blind community.
